LET'S ZOOM OUT!
In my childhood, I was constantly watching the cartoon characters close to the screen keeping their movement in mind to imitate them. That’s what made me a child with a vivid imagination and a whole lot of questions.
I grew up loving art influenced by my father, Waleed Rambo, a fine artist and an art teacher. One of his amazing methods when i was a child was to provide me with pens and a notebook to draw in the characters i used to imitate, page after page, the notebook would end, and every time he would replace it with another one. Which resulted in endless notebooks, an uninterrupted imagination, and practicing art with passion!
THE SELF-TAUGHT JOURNEY!
Society, at that time, was not interested with this art, the lack of socializing with graffiti artists, as well as the lack of providing sufficient educational sources for Graffiti as an art made the challenges in this journey even more difficult and more prominent which resulted in being self - taught.
2005 was the start of my graffiti discovery, which was when the first graffiti art competition was held in Jeddah. What I felt most at that time is the extent to which I was affected by this art in all aspects ... the freedom of expression, breaking many other art’s rules, and the depth of influence in the message!
" Graffiti is always the out of cage path "
RAMBO WORLD'S FIRST APPEARANCE
In my style of art and imagination, I always followed the method of linking different elements in the composition and concealing defects. One of the most important results was highlighting the strengths and hiding the weaknesses as much as possible! Nature was not a source of inspiration yet ..
But my trip to New Zealand in 2009 changed the course of my life! The creativity of the divine nature of trees, seas, animals, and beautiful calm in that island had a great impact on my life and my imagination. For the first time I was watching the art of graffiti in a different way !!
RAMBO WORLD is an infinite fictional world, allowing me to share my imagination with people in the way that suits me best!
